The 3rd round of the 2014 PGA Championship is well underway at a soggy Valhalla Golf Course in Louisville, KY. Rory McIIroy, the 25 year old hailing from Northern Ireland, began the day with a 1 stroke advantage. After 11 holes he found himself in a 3-way tie with Americans Ryan Palmer and Rickie Fowler, who were still on their 9th holes. Also on their 9th hole and 1 under par was Australian Jason Day.

Rory Mcllroy may is on a roll. The youngster from Northern Ireland is only 25 years old, but he is fast making a name for himself on the PGA Tour. In the last few weeks he won the British Open and yesterday, the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio. The new #1 player in the world is eyeballing a possible third win in a row next weekend at the PGA Championship at Valhalla.
