With the first decade of the new millenium coming to a close, CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish looks back at the ten best March Madness games of the decade. Each week he'll take a look back with full videos to remind you!
No. 2 - UCLA staged a big comeback. An arena roared to life. Gonzaga's Adam Morrison cried. And Gary Parrish was there -- kind of. It all adds up to the second-best NCAA tournament game of the decade.
No. 3 - Gary Parrish has hit No. 3 in his March Madness countdown: Illinois' rally from 15 down with four minutes left to stun Arizona in the 2005 Elite Eight.
No. 4 - There won't be another George Mason, so stop searching. Its run in '06, topped by the Elite Eight upset of UConn, was right out of Hollywood.
No. 5 - A shot at Coach K's fourth title was in Duke's grip. Then UConn came back -- or did the Devils collapse? -- to take a national semifinal battle.
No. 6 - Carmelo Anthony was rare, delaying the NBA. It paid off for Syracuse, which, thanks to a Hakeem Warrick block, topped Kansas for the '03 title.
No. 7 - He's in the NBA now, but a run in March 2008 put Stephen Curry on the map. He scored 25 in the final 15 minutes as Davidson upset Georgetown.
No. 8 - Elite Eight, tie game, 5 seconds. 'Nova's Scottie Reynolds made like Tyus Edney and sunk Pitt to earn his clutch tag.
No. 9 - Roy Williams wanted to shed his label of best coach without a title, but he had to contend with Illinois' guards in the '05 championship.
No. 10 - Ohio State-Xavier in 2007 had story lines galore, including the No. 1 seed Buckeyes being on the ropes.
