My NFL Picks Week 12!
Last night the (0-10) Oakland Raiders defeated the (7-3) Kansas City Chiefs 24-20 on Thursday Night Football. What a way to kick off Week 12 of the NFL season. The hapless Raiders had lost 16 in a row dating back to November 2013, but there was something in the air last night in Oakland. The Raiders played with intensity and displayed their desire to achieve the victory that had been eluding them. This impressive victory inevitably informs all of us that anything is possible on the NFL gridiron. Here are my picks for the best of Week 12 in the NFL.
Browns at Falcons - The Falcons are favored by 3 at home. Browns need the win more. Browns embarrassed by Texans last week, but will beat Atlanta.
Lions at Patriots - Patriots favored by 7.5. Lions give up 15.6 points per game. Lowest in NFL. Patriots score 32.3 per game, 2nd in NFL. Lions win in upset.
Bengals at Texans - Texans whipped the Browns last week. Bengals bounced back over the Saints. Bengals favored by 2. I like the Texans in an upset.
Cardinals at Seahawks - Seahawks are favored by 7. Seahawks are not soaring. Cardinals are the real deal even without Palmer. Cardinals win on the road.
Rams at Chargers - Chargers are favored by 5. Rams pulled another big upset over Denver last week and will upset the Chargers this week as well.
Dolphins at Broncos - Broncos are favored by a touchdown. Dolphins 4th ranked defense stuffed Bills last week. Broncos will be upset again.
Cowboys at Giants - Giants played horrible last week. Cowboys coming off a bye. Cowboys favored by 3.5, but will win by much more.
Ravens at Saints - The Saints are favored by 3.5 at home. Saints know their division is up for grabs. They bounce back with big win at home.
I have picked quite a few upsets this week. I can feel it in the air. Whether it is due to injuries or that magical winning desire that comes from deep down within on that special night when you feel like you can take on the world, there will be more upsets in Week 12. Until we meet again, may your betting be better and remember to always be a good sport.
