My NFL Picks Week 3!

Okay, it is only Week 3 in the 2014 NFL Season, but did you really think the Buffalo Bills would be 2-0 and at the top of the AFC Eastern Division? Could you have imagined that New Orleans would be 0-2 and that their Week 2 defeat would come at the hands of the Cleveland Browns? I would be willing to bet that no one thought Indianapolis would also begin the year at 0-2. Nothing is what it seems so far this season. Here are my Week 3 NFL Picks!

Tampa Bay (0-2) @ Atlanta (1-1) Tampa Bay has no offense and Atlanta no defense. I have to go with Atlanta at home in this one.

San Diego (1-1) @ Buffalo (2-0) I am still not a beliver in the Bills. San Diego will win this one coming off a huge defeat of Seattle.

Washington (1-1) @ Philadelphia (2-0) Washington looks like a better team with QB Cousins at the helm, but I like Philly at home.

Dallas (1-1) @ St. Louis (1-1) Both of these teams finally put something together last week. St. Louis is my upset of the week.

Houston (2-0) @ New York Giants (0-2) Houston seems to be back to their winning ways. The Giants are not. I choose the Houston defense.

Minnesota (1-1) @ New Orleans (0-2) RB Peterson is out and New Orleans will not lose 3 in a row. I like the Saints.

Tennessee (1-1) @ Cincinnati (2-0) What can I say, this will be another easy win for the Bengals at home.

Baltimore (1-1) @ Cleveland (1-1) Who would have thought this game would be interesting? Surprise pick: Cleveland at home.

Green Bay(1-1) @ Detroit (1-1) This will be a classic match-up. I am going with Detroit to bounce back this week at home.

Indianapolis (0-2) @ Jacksonville (0-2) Finally a game where Indy can excel. The Colts win this one hands down.

Oakland (0-2) @ New England (1-1) Things are turning from bad to worse for Oakland. New England wins big here.

San Francisco (1-1) @ Arizona 2-0) Arizona leads the NFC West? San Francisco dropped the ball last week. They will win this one.

Denver (2-0) @ Seattle (1-1) The match-up from last years Super Bowl. Seattle got humbled last week. Denver will get revenge here.

Kansas City (0-2) @ Miami (1-1) The Chiefs are not making much noise. Miami will win this one to stay in the AFC East race.

Pittsburgh (1-1) @ Carolina (2-0) Pittsburgh is looking for their defense. Carolina has one. The Pittsburgh defense will show up. Steelers win.

Chicago (1-1) @ New York Jets (1-1) The Bears bounced back on Monday Night. The Jets are improved. I like the Bears in this one.

Final Thoughts

As usual I have picked a few upsets this week to spice things up. This week we will find out if Cleveland, Buffalo and Arizona are for real. In addition, we will see if New Orleans and Indianapolis can get out of the cellar and live up to their broad expectations. Week 3 in the NFL is going to be very interesting. Until we meet again may your betting be better and remember to always be a good sport.
