NCAA Men's Basketball Picks for November 27/28, 2012!

So far this NCAA Men's Basketball Season has witnessed a changing of the guard. A few of the teams typically found closer to #1 in the AP Top 25 have slid a little further down the charts. For example, even though the North Carolina Tar Heels are 5-1 on the young season; they are ranked #14 on the AP Top 25. The Kansas Jayhawks are #10 and the Kentucky Wildcats are #8. As of today the Indiana Hoosiers are #1 and the Duke Blue Devils are #2 followed by the Michigan Wolverines, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Louisville Cardinals rounding out the top 5. Here are my predictions for a few good games I see coming up in the next few days.

North Carolina Tar Heels at the Indiana Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers are strong at #1, but many are skeptical of their success because the only strong team they have beaten so far this year has been Georgetown. This will change when they take on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Tuesday. The Hoosiers are 6-0 and a win against North Carolina at home would be huge. This should be one of the better games of the week. There is little doubt that the Hoosiers will be favored at home in this one. I have to go with Indiana in this one by 7.

North Carolina State Wolfpack at the Michigan Wolverines

The Wolfpack are 4-1 on the year. They looked good against Massachusetts and Penn State, but are they in the same league as the Wolverines who are 5-0 and have beaten Pittsburgh and Kansas State in their last 2 games? The Wolverines are ranked #3 while the Wolfpack are ranked #18. Michigan will be favored at home here and like them to win by 8.

The Ohio State Buckeyes at the Duke Blue Devils

The Buckeyes are ranked #3 and the Blue Devils are ranked #2. This is going to be the game of the week. Last November the Buckeyes ripped the Blue Devils 85-63, but Duke is hoping to alter those results Wednesday Night at home. Duke is led by Mason Plumlee who has scored 19.7 points per game this year. Seth Curry has also sunk 17 points per game. Ohio State is led by Deshaun Thomas with 24 points per game and Aaron Craft with 14.3. I like Ohio State by 5 this year.

These are just a few of the great games on tap for the next few days that you don't want to miss. Until we meet again, may your betting be better and remember to always be a good sport.
