Day 3 Begins At The PGA Tour Championship!

The PGA Tour Championship heads into day 3 today with Jim Furyk hanging on to the lead. He is still looking for his first win of the season and he is in the position to do so this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia at East Lake.  After the first two days of the tournament he is shooting a 64, which is 6 under par. He is in front of Justin Rose by a stroke. Furyk has 16 wins in his career over the past two decades and he knows the only person he has to prove anything too is himself. He plans to do it this weekend at East Lake.

Jim Furyk wants to win the Tour Championship badly, but he has a pretty good field behind him. Besides Justin Rose, Bo Van Pelt and Bubba Watson are tied for 3rd. Rory McIlroy is tied for 7th and Tiger Woods is tied for 12th. The Tour Championship is still up for grabs. Players have had their good and not so good moments, but as day 3 tees off one has to expect that those who want this victory bad enough will find a way to reach down deep and find a way to put a consistent game together. Anything can still happen and it will be most important for those who are still in contention for the ten million dollar FedEx Bonus. Until we meet again, may your betting be better and remember to always be a good sport.
