NCAA Men's Basketball Update!
Last night, December 15, 2012, the #1 ranked NCAA Men's Basketball team was shocked in OT by the Butler Bulldogs and lost 88-86. The night was defined by a player normally resting in the shadows of such a successful organization. It was Alex Barlow who found the opportunity in the games waning moments and suck a 6 footer with only 2.4 seconds left on the clock. It was one of those magical moments that makes many sports games so memorable.
Barlow had only accumulated 12 points in 12 games, but made his latest 2 count. He had a monumental steal and dropped in 6 points to boot. Although it was Roosevelt Jones who led the Bulldogs with 16 points; it was Barlow who made the glorious basket that lifted Butler to success. Indiana is now 9-1 and Butler 8-2 on the season.
In other major games last night #5 Florida lost to Arizona. Michigan, ranked #3 beat West Virgina. #6 Louisville defeated Memphis. #4 Syracuse took down Canisius and #7 Ohio State ran over Asheville. There are plenty of good NCAA Men's Basketball games on tap for today for you to explore with #10 Illinois hosting Eastern Kentucky and #24 Oklahoma State hosting Central Arkansas.
