NFL Football Week 2 Matchup
New England Patriots (1-0) vs New York Jets (1-0)
Sunday, Sept 14th - 4:15 PM ET at Giants Stadium (artificial turf) in East Rutherford, NJ.
The New England Patriots (1-0 SU, 0-1 ATS), who are kind of disheartened that they have to go forward with a new quarterback, will travel to the New York metropolitan area on Sunday as they take on the New York Jets (1-0 SU & ATS), who are tickled to death about their new QB. Last year this was an easy game for Brady, but on 2008 NFL season, this is our NFL Week 2 Game of the Week.
The Jets look like they're happy and playing with confidence behind Brett Favre, that have put them ahead on the bets, but a little perspective might be in order here. One of Favre's touchdown passes against the Dolphins was a real floater.
Well, the Pats have been one of the NFL's best road teams, winning eleven of their last 12. They have covered 13 of the last 18 as the visitor. Matt Cassel, who has been installed as the starting quarterback, has three full years in this system.
