2012 MLB Season Winding Down: 2 Divisions Need To Crown A Champ!

The MLB season has come down to the last 2 games of the regular season and would you believe there are 2 divisions in the American League that have yet to crown a champion. In the AL East the New York Yankees lead the division by 1 game over the playoff bound Baltimore Orioles who are 92-68. Either one of these teams could be champion after these last 2 games. The Yankees are rounding out yet another superior season against their rival Boston Red Sox. The Orioles are winding down their season against the Tampa Bay Rays.

NFL Predictions: Week 4

Sunday, September 30th is the last day of the month and it could very well be a long day for the Carolina Panthers 1-2 who travel to Atlanta to take on the 3-0 Falcons. The Falcons are favored by only 7.5 points at home, which I find a little surprising. Falcon QB Matt Ryan has been on a tear and the defense has been quite impressive. The offense is ranked #2 after 3 games averaging 31.3 points per game and the defense is ranked #4 allowing only 16. The Falcons destroyed the San Diego Chargers last week 27-3 while the Panthers fell to the New York Giants 36-7.

Andy Murray Becomes One Of The Fearsome Foursome In Tennis

It has been 2 weeks since Andy Murray surprised the world with his first grand slam victory at the U.S. Open. Murray has worked hard and paid his dues to get to that grand slam win. He started off this season ranked 4th in the world behind Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer. It is extraordinary how this 2012 campaign has unfolded. Tennis could not have planned it better had they tried. Djokovic, ranked #1 at the start would go onto win the first Grand Slam tournament when he ruled supreme at the Australian Open.

Day 3 Begins At The PGA Tour Championship!

The PGA Tour Championship heads into day 3 today with Jim Furyk hanging on to the lead. He is still looking for his first win of the season and he is in the position to do so this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia at East Lake.  After the first two days of the tournament he is shooting a 64, which is 6 under par. He is in front of Justin Rose by a stroke. Furyk has 16 wins in his career over the past two decades and he knows the only person he has to prove anything too is himself. He plans to do it this weekend at East Lake.

2012 NFL Predictions: Week 3

The 3rd week of the NFL season kicks off tomorrow night in Charlotte, North Carolina when the Carolina Panthers 1-1 welcome the New York Giants 1-1 to Bank of America Stadium. Both of these teams pulled out vital victories in Week 2. The Giants and QB Eli Manning came back to beat to beat Tampa Bay 41-34. Manning threw for over 500 yards in the process. The Panthers beat the slipping New Orleans Saints 35-27. The latest odds favor the Giants this week by 1.5 points. This is going to be a tough game.

Monday Night Football Match Up: Broncos At Falcons!

Yesterday we saw a few teams redeem themselves after Week 1 losses in the NFL. We also saw a few teams that couldn't build one their Week 1 victories. The Steelers, Giants and Panthers are a few of the teams that won big in Week 2, while the Cowboys, Ravens and Patriots got surprised by weaker opponents. Tonight 2 big winners from Week 1, the Atlanta Falcons and the Denver Broncos, will face off in Atlanta to see who will continue their winning ways and who will fall short.

NCAA Football Predictions For AP Top 5 In Week 3

As Week 3 of the NCAA Football season kicks off this weekend we will look at the top 5 teams in the AP Poll and predict their upcoming match ups. On Saturday, September 15th the #1 team in the nation the Alabama Crimson Tide 2-0 will travel to Arkansas to battle the 1-1 Razorbacks. Last week Alabama destroyed Western Kentucky 35-0. The have averaged 38 points per game in their first 2 match ups and have given away an average of 7, which ranks them 4th in the nation in that area. Arkansas lost last week to Louisianna-Monroe 34-31.

2012 NFL Predictions: Week 2

On Thursday September 13th Week 2 of the NFL Season will kick off in Green Bay as the Packers 0-1 host the Chicago Bears 1-0. The Packers fell to the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday proving that they were far from invincible and that the 49ers were for real. It may only be the second week of the season, but this game is important in the NFC Central Division. The Packers are favored by 6, but will need to play their best to beat a good Bears team.

NFL Season Opens Tonight!

September 5, 2012 is finally here and tonight the National Football League season gets under way in East Rutherford, New Jersey as the New York Giants host their division rival Dallas Cowboys. The Giants won the NFC East Division last year with a 9-7 record and then went on to win their 2nd Super Bowl in 4 years with QB Eli Manning at the helm. The Dallas Cowboys struggled through another dismal season finishing 8-8 behind the Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.

2012 NFL Preseason: Looking At The Week 3 Schedule

Tomorrow night, Thursday August 23, the Green Bay Packers 0-2 in their first two preseason games, will travel to Cincinnati to face the 2-0 Bengals. The Packers went 15-1 last year and did not make it to the Super Bowl. The upstart Bengals made the Wild Card Game in the AFC with a 9-7 record.
